Wowee!! I love your style. I had to snoop through your website with this teaser...great work! I can clearly see that Rackham is a huge influence in your work. Makes me want to get out my good old number 2 pencil :)

In the Thousand Islands region between New York and Ontario there are islands that have houses on them. Some of the houses seem to occupy all their available space and look as if you walked out the front door too quickly, you would fall into the St Lawrence. This reminds me of them.
Beautiful work as usual, Eric. I love the pink clouds.

Wow! Thanks so much everyone!
This is actually a piece I did for a children's book but felt it really suited the theme.

That is absolutely a beautiful image. Your clouds make me want to jump in and roll around. Very inviting and so real looking.

Thanks Katie! Someone has described them as cotton candy which I think is a pretty good description.

Hehe adorable compact living! I like the feel that the hill and trees are cuddling the houses as much as the houses are snuggled into the hill flora! Am I making sense?... nice piece Eric!

Thanks Emily! It makes complete sense, I think a lot of architecture mimics nature in some way. This is actually very much what Nova Scotia looks like.

This is my favorite ISLAND illustration. The clouds are amazing and have very nice color. I'd like to live in this picture. I love the boat, the houses, and the height of the island.
I wish it was mine!
